Peanut Butter Malva Pudding

Ingredients

Pudding

2 tbsp butter or margarine

2 tbsp Yum Yum Peanut Butter

1 cup of sugar

1 egg

1 tsbp apricot jam

1 cup of flour

1 tsp vinegar

1 cup of flour

1 tsp bicarb

1 tsp baking powder

A pinch of salt

 

Sauce

125g of butter or margarine

½ cup sugar

½ cup of water

1 cup of cream

1 tsp vanilla essence


Cooking Instructions

Cream the margarine, Yum Yum Peanut Butter and sugar together

Add the egg, apricot jam, milk and vinegar

Sift in the flour, bicarb, baking powder and salt and mix well

Pour into a well-greased baking dish and cover tightly with greased foil

Bake for an hour at 180 degrees C.

For the sauce, melt the butter, add the sugar and water and stir well

Mix in the cream and vanilla essence and pour over the hot baked pudding as it comes out the oven
