Our Baking Business Unit is made up of four diverse and exciting Operating Units: Bread, Buns and Rolls – which crafts an array of baked goods under the umbrella of Sunbake, the fourth largest bread brand nationally. On 1 March 2023, we welcomed Sunshine Bakery into our family. Milling – the home of our oldest brand, Supreme flour, together with Five Star and Tafelberg maize meal. Our flour mill in Pretoria West stands as the largest single-site flour mill in Southern Africa. Pies – producer of our famous Pieman’s pies, rolls, and pasties, situated in Klerksdorp. Speciality – producer of a wide range of ambient and chilled cakes & desserts, as well as speciality breads, for Woolworths.
